Our festival, built by many predecessors who loved our hometown Takamatsu, is ON for the 59th time this year! Now, as one of the four major festivals in Shikoku and a festival that graces the midsummer nights of Sanuki, today’s Kagawa. The Sanuki Takamatsu Festival is popular among locals and tourists alike. This festival will be held in Anabuki Arena Kagawa and Sunport Takamatsu Multi-purpose Square:Stone Stage on a grand scale under the slogan "Monosso Takamatsu" as an extraordinary festival befitting the city of Takamatsu,the capital of the Seto Inland Sea.
*Monosso means something amazing in the local dialect.
For safety reasons, drones are prohibited from flying around the main venue and viewing areas during the festival. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

In Mizuki-dori Street and around Sunport, you can watch "musical fireworks" that set off fireworks to music.

The climax of the three-day festival is the annual group dance.Young and old come together to dance their hearts out.
For the 2026 festival year, group dance performance of the festival’s theme song—traditionally held along Chuo-dori—will not take place. In addition, the “The Group Dance Performance AWARD 2026” will not be held. Please note: In the event of severe weather, the Group Dance Performance will be canceled.

4-minute walk from JR Takamatsu Station, Kotoden Takamatsu-Chikko Station.
