Anyone with an address in the city as of January 1st of the current year, who had income in the previous year, is eligible for taxation in Takamatsu City.
Please file your return by March 15.

The following people need not file prefectural or municipal taxes:

• You receive an annual salary report from your employer and you have no other income.
• You have filed an income tax return to the Takamatsu Tax Office.

If you wish to receive a tax exemption under a tax treaty, you must file a notice with the Takamatsu Tax Office.
