Anyone with an address in the city as of January 1st of the current year, who had income in the previous year, is eligible for taxation in Takamatsu City.
Please file your return by March 15.

However, in the following situations, it's not necessary to file a return:

• If your workplace has filed a return on your behalf and you have no other income.
• If you filed an income tax return with the tax office.

Every year on April 1, owners of scooters, light motor vehicles, small-sized special motor vehicles, and small-sized motorcycles are taxed.
